Job Lot Merging

Use this form to merge two jobs into one. During processing, the system:

  • Adds all posted quantities and costs of the "from" job to the "to" job.
  • Changes the reference number/line/suffix on any preassigned lot or serial records from the "from" job to the "to" job reference number/line/suffix.
  • If the "to" job does not contain an operation or material that is contained in the "from" job, inserts the operation or material into the "to" job.
  • Changes the status of the "from" job to History.
Note:  You cannot merge a rework job with a normal job. Both jobs must be rework jobs or normal jobs. You cannot merge if the job is cross referenced to a project, job, or sub job.
