Estimate Job Orders

Use this form to create new estimated manufacturing work orders. The Estimated Job record contains the following data for a particular estimate job:

  • Overall item
  • Description
  • Customer/prospect
  • Status
  • Schedule
  • Customer contract and quantity information
Note:  For estimate job orders to be scheduled, you must select the Schedule Working Estimate Jobs and/or Schedule Planned Estimate Jobs options on the Shop Floor Control Parameters form before running the Scheduling activity.

If you're using the Molding Industry Pack, a Co-products tab is provided to maintain co-products for an estimate job order.

On the Actions menu:

  • There is an option to filter the data to show only current and future estimates.
  • Use the Post Configuration Status utility to process those post configuration records with a status of not completed.
  • Use the Generate Document option to open the Infor CPQ Document Automation interface, where you can generate configurable documents.

  • Use the Remove Config Hold option to indicate that the configuration for an estimate job is no longer on hold. This option is enabled only when the Config Hold check box is selected for the estimate job.
