What If Operations

Use this form to view, and manipulate, alternative operations. An operation is a single step in the processing of an item (the entire process is called the route, or routing). Operations take time and require resources. For planning purposes, APS considers the time required to perform the action, rather than the details of the action. You must also specify the resource capabilities (in terms of resource groups) required to perform the operation.
