Cycle Count Variance Report

This report shows the variance between the system's on hand balance and the actual count entered. The report can indicate to you which items have a variance, and therefore require an investigation, such as initiating a recount or trying to figure out who is not entering transactions into the computer properly.

You have the option to show only those items which have a variance. A variance occurs when:

• The actual count was not within product code tolerance of the starting count
• The location on hand is not the same as on hand when the cycle count record was generated
• The item is not on the Items form
• The location for the item is not found
