Deduction and Earning Codes
Use the Deduction and Earning Codes form to define and maintain the specific deduction and earnings codes used with the CloudSuite Industrial Payroll function. These deduction and earnings codes are then specified on the Employees form when defining the deductions and earnings that are displayed on an employee's paycheck.
Create codes for all the deductions and earnings needed to complete payroll for all employees.
Codes for wages, withholding taxes, garnishments, union dues, and loan repayments do not have to be entered on this form. These categories are specified and maintained on the Employees and Tax Codes forms.
You cannot delete a deduction and earning code which is referenced by a posted payroll transaction. If you attempt to do so, an error message is displayed.
