Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

A set of protocols defining the format of information communicated electronically so that it does not have to be re-entered manually. The paperless exchange of trading documents, such as purchase orders, shipment authorizations, advanced shipment notices, and invoices, using standardized document formats.

This allows companies to exchange transaction data using data files in an ANSI standard format. CloudSuite Industrial is integrated with an EDI translator. CloudSuite Industrial imports inbound transactions from the translator and exports outbound transactions to the translator.
