Part of Euro

A name that describes the national currency of a country that is participating in the euro system but has not converted to the euro currency. This term applies during a euro interim period, when full conversion to the euro is optional for euro-participating countries.

The system uses the triangulation conversion method to perform currency conversions between Part of Euro currencies (as required by the euro regulations).

To set a currency as Part of Euro, select the Part of Euro field on the Currency Codes form.
