Activating Portal Catalogs

After you have completed one or more portal catalogs, you can activate them for availability on the portal. The catalogs are available immediately after processing, including for current logged in portal user sessions.

Perform one of these tasks:

  • To activate an individual catalog, open the Portal Catalog Workbench form, select the catalog from the drop-down list, and then click Activate.
    Note: The Activate button cannot be used if no items are associated with the catalog.
  • To activate all planned catalogs, open the Portal Catalog Build Utility form, select Activate all Planned, and then click Process.
