Leads

Use this form to create a sales lead for a customer or a prospect.

On this form you can identify the lead's source, determine its quality, and track the status.

When you create a lead for a customer, the Prospect field is disabled; likewise, when you create the lead for a prospect, the Customer field is disabled.

Once the lead is approved to become an actual opportunity, to convert it to an opportunity, click Opportunities to display the Opportunities form. Once you create the opportunity, the record is stored as a lead and the opportunity number displays on this form.

The Estimate Projects tab is display-only and lists all estimate projects that reference the lead. The information provided comes from the Estimate Projects form and includes the project, description, date, status, and type.

The Estimates tab is display-only and lists all estimates that reference the lead. The information provided comes from the Estimates form and includes the estimate, order date, total price, status, taken by, and projected (date).

The Opportunities tab lists all opportunities that reference the lead. The grid on this tab is display-only, providing the opportunity, description, status, est. value, stage, territory, and close percent.

The Orders tab is display-only and lists all orders that reference the lead. The information provided comes from the Customer Orders form and includes the order, order date, total price, status, taken by, customer PO, and projected (date).

The Projects tab is display-only and lists all projects that reference the lead. The information provided comes from the Projects form and includes the project, description, date, status, and type.
