Adding an HTS Code

  1. Open the Harmonized Tariff Schedule Codes form.
  2. Click the Filter in Place button to get out of Filter in Place mode.
  3. Click the New button in the toolbar to create a new object.
  4. Add the HTS code to the HTS Code field. This field is not validated in any way, and the field accepts any characters.
  5. Tab over to the Description field.
  6. Add a description of the HTS code.
  7. Save the record.

HTS codes added on the Harmonized Tariff Schedule Codes form are immediately available for selection in the HTS Code field on the Items form.
