CARaS Parts Extraction Utility

Use this form to extract Items records from CloudSuite Industrial and transfer them into the CARaS Part Master file.

Note: Before you run this utility, you must set up or update customer/item cross-references for each item record to be extracted. The utility only extracts items for an EDI customer when the items are cross-referenced to the customer in the Customer Contracts form.

By default, the system extracts only item records that were added or changed (including deletion) since the last time you ran this utility. The Last Item Extract field on the EDI Customer Profiles form shows the date and time the utility was last run.

To completely replace the existing CARaS parts data with the current CloudSuite Industrial item data, select Extract All Items. Then, for each CloudSuite Industrial item, this utility creates a delete record and an add record for the CARaS Part Master file.

Use the CARaS Parts Report to view the parts that will be exported before you perform the export.
