To export an IDO for use in a different Objects database:
On the
IDO Export Wizard form, click
Browse and specify a
directory path and a filename for the export file to be created.
The file type must be XML.
Note: In a
partial trust situation or in the web client, there is no Browse button. In these cases,
you have a couple options to specify the path and filename:
You can enter a full path and filename to a directory on
your local computer. For example: C:\Temp\MyIDO.xml
You can specify just a filename, in which case the system either prompts
the user for a save location, or saves the file to the user's default
download location.
In the IDOs to
Export area, select the desired IDO project from the Project Name drop-down list. Then select one of
these options:
To export all IDOs in the current project, select All IDOs in selected
project.
To export only some IDOs, select Selected and then select the IDOs you want
from the list.
Optionally, you can select property classes and IDO extension class
assemblies to export.
When you have selected all the objects to export, click
OK.
