Adding an Appointment to the User Calendar
To add an appointment in the Calendar view of the User Calendar, double-click on the appropriate date and time to display the Update User Appointment form. Specify this appointment information and click :
- Subject
- Location: When you add locations, they are stored in the calendar, so you can reuse them later in a drop-down menu.
- Starting Time and Ending Time: Specify the date and time, if different than the default value.
- Remind Date: When the reminder date and time is reached, a message is sent to the Inbox form. A message notification icon can be displayed in the status bar and a sound can play when the reminder message arrives, if you have chosen those options in the user preferences.
- Delete After Reminder: Select this field to delete the appointment after the time is past.
- Description: Optionally, specify additional information about the appointment.
To add an appointment in the Tabular view, add a record, specifying the same information as above, and then save the record. The Starting Time, Ending Time and Remind Date default to the current date and time.
