You can print selected records or collections of records. You can also
preview
the output before printing it.
- Open a form and display the collection you want.
- Optionally, to print a single record, select that record.
- Select .
- Select one of these options:
- To print the selected single record, select Current
Field Data.
- To print the entire collection, select Collection
Properties and select the collection you want to print.
If you do not know the collection name, return to the form and click
the section displaying the collection. Then click to see the name of the current collection.
- Specify whether the output should be Tabular
with each field or property shown in a separate column, or Columnar,
with each field in the first column and the value in the second column.
- Optionally, to sort the fields and properties listed in the Select Fields/Properties box alphabetically,
select the Sort Alphabetically check
box.
- From the Select Fields/Properties
group box, select the items you want to print:
- To exclude an item, clear its check box.
- To change the order, moving an item up or down in the list,
use the Up and Down buttons.
- Optionally,for collections only, to show a light gray background
behind alternating records, select Shade Alternate
Detail Lines.
- Optionally, to change the display font, click Font.
Specify the font family, size, and style you want to use, and then
click OK.
- Optionally, to change the print setup options, click Print
Setup, adjust these print settings, and click OK:
- Paper size and source
- Page orientation (portrait or landscape)
- Page margins
- Click OK.
- Optionally, In the Windows Print dialog box, you can select an
alternate printer or set additional print options, before sending
the output to the printer.
- Click OK. The information is printed.
