Generate Quantity

This field defaults to the Target Qty. It indicates the number of serial numbers you want the system to generate for this item during this transaction.

When you generate new serial numbers, the number to be generated should be less than or equal to the Target Qty. When you are performing a query on existing serial numbers, you can change the value to any desired quantity.

After you click Generate, this field's value is reset to 0.
