Setting Up the IDO Source for a Drilldown

When you specify an IDO as the source for a critical number drilldown on the Drilldowns Setup form, General tab, the Source Name button becomes enabled. To define the IDO source for the IDO-based drilldown, click that button to launch the Drilldowns IDO Setup form.

To set up the IDO source, then:

  1. From the IDO Name drop-down list, specify the IDO to use as the source for this drilldown.
  2. Optionally, in the Filter field, specify a filter to use when retrieving data from the IDO.
  3. To make it easier to specify the filter, you can click the Filter button to launch the Critical Numbers/Drilldowns IDO Filters Setup form.
  4. Optionally, from the Goal / Alert Property Name drop-down list, specify the IDO property against which the Goal and Alert values are to be evaluated.  
  5. Optionally, from the Date Property Name drop-down list, specify the IDO property to be used when setting data ranges for data retrieval.
  6. In the Output Columns grid, select the IDO properties to include in the drilldown.
  7. In the Input Parameters grid, select the IDO properties to include in the drilldown data query.
  8. To save your selections, click OK.
