Setup for Local.ly Reporting

Before you can export data so that it is available for Infor Local.ly reports, you must first perform these steps:

  1. Install Infor Local.ly and configure this application to work with it.

  2. Open the Intranets form.
  3. Specify information for these fields in the XML group: Server, File Location, and Dataset Server. The Server field should contain the name of your Cognos report server. Use this syntax: https://servername. The File Location field is for the location for storing files on the Cognos report server. The location might be something like \\servername\wwwroot\InforReportingXML. The Dataset Server should contain the name of the dataset server to be used with the server name and file location specified in the other two fields.
  4. Save you changes. Now you can use the reports.
